Clever online hackers can devastate even the best secured email accounts. The proof is right out of today's news: Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta’s email was compromised.
Podesta received an official looking email from Google. This notice alerted him that his password was stolen and that the account was in use by others. It recommended that Podesta change his password immediately.
In the email was a link that would expedite the process. Podesta's staffers fell for it. The result is now history... It open the door for suspected Russian government hackers to gain access into the Democratic campaign's private email communications.
