April 22, 2024: Welcome to our online event where we presented the latest and greatest publishing tech tips. Highlights included printing books, ebooks, apps, AI, and the music publishing business. In addition, we covered content creation, platform distribution, and acquiring “generative fill” assets. For the techies, there was a demo on publishing with GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio Maui. Plus, for those musically inclined we included a music lesson of Pink Floyd’s “Eclipse” to celebrate the recent Solar Eclipse with its totality over the Buffalo/Niagara Falls, Western New York area. On January 8, 2024, InBusinessLinks Network (IBLN) and the Fustino Brothers, Inc (FBI Apps) hosted an online event where they dived into the Internet of Things (IoT) tech from 2023. This jam-packed session was filled with reviews of previous discussions, tips, and tricks. Our expert speakers shared their insights on the tech trends from 2023 into 2024. Creating an online newsletter feed is relatively straightforward. To start, all that is needed is to select a targeted theme with a pinpointed topic. Next to do: Capture the content (the feeds); Employ a platform delivery scheme (an aggregator system); Send out (publish the news); Market with automated social media mentions; Dispatch email reminders; Provide a sign-up form, and; Build a database of subscribers or capture followers with “likes” for a constant renewable audience. Event date October 12, 2020: With video conferencing now the norm, we took a second look at Zoom and some of the more advanced features. The free webinar included a deep dive into user management, customization, and administrative controls that includes an easy method of sharing file uploads within the chat window. Plus, the Fustino Brothers - Rich Fustino (celebrated, master, guitar musician) used Zoom to demonstrate how to play the rock world's greatest guitar licks to brother Russ and to the other participating students.
